The hotel is set in a building that operated as a flour mill in the late 19th century, later became the first merchant port of Maldonado, and now functions as an adults-only hotel. The interior incorporates native materials from Uruguay, unique design pieces, and natural fibers that provide character. The food was really good; I especially enjoyed the large portions, perfect for sharing.
